FLASHFORWARD TO THE FUTURE!!!!!!

Friday 26th June!

today I was walking alone and suddenly the BACK TO THE FUTURE car appeared and so i took a ride to the future....to the day that we are planning to see "RESPIRA". But since this is a blog, I'm going to write in past tense ok?

So, We went in a crazy bus full of crazy people (but lacking a fish) to see a play called Respira de Eduardo Adrianzén, and once again i HATED the play. The only thing I said WOW AMAZING was the lighting. The effect of the light blue light upon the actors in order to creat the idea of Water was great and the other thing that i liked was the character of Jesus. He was comic enough and it gived a twist to the play.

The reason why I hated the play was becuase at some point i said, they just look people saying a random text. They were not acting, not even trying. Whenever they faught the other person over reacted, however this helped me a lot becuase I think I tend to do that, like roll my eyes, or do some things we do becuase we really don't know what to do. That happened to me in the play, I did the same thing and in my head i thought: was doing that convincing enough!? or am i being so medieval and LOOKING angry just to let people tell that i'm angry.....??? the answer...NO, it looks completely fake and it makes the audience lose conection with what the play.
The other thing i didn't like and still wont like until i'm proven wrong "THE STUPID PROJECTOR!!! why on earth do people like to ruin plays by adding the stupid projections onn walls, and videos and stuff!! that doesn't happen!!! that only shows you were not able to think another way to portray your idea and that's why you use technology! NO PEOPLE!! that kills the play instead!. And in the case of this play, I think that was a scenery problem. So, uhm to my question before!!! well...I think sometimes people tend to think wrong ideas about scenery, if it was complete or not! but is something is not right then IT WILL BE SEEN, trust me.

Ok so, the acting sucked, scenery REKETE sucked...the spinning thing...uhm was it really needed?!ah! the story of the dad..and mom!? wtF* ...what was that got to do with all the story!? I think it took importance from teh main plot...and really that was the part of the play that became boring! I wanted to know more about the son, not the sex life of his parents. The other thing i noticed and said "ROBERTO TOLD ME NOT TO DO" was that the actors tend to speak and give the back to the audience....A LOT......then I think what was not good was the direction, the actors just stood there doing literally nothing more than talk! talkt! and TALK! make some actions people! move! use your body!!! express yourselves!!!! (muevete san borja! muevete!!! corre Lola Corre!!!

In conclusion! another play that sucked!!! but this plays help you a lot in the sence of WHAT NOT TO DO. So I find out that, overacting....not good, and not acting...NOT GOOD AT ALL. at least move, don't stay there and speak! if that happens it will only be vomiting the text, so don't. But the problem that keeps poping into my head ...whay will you do if the only thing that's on stage is you and chair? I know the answer I guess.....but I want to see more examples of this situation in order to be able to fully answer.

BACK TO THE PRESENT m' boys!!!!

Born To be Wild - Steppenwolf

Monday 15th
EMERGENCIA!!! major caos happend today want to know??!?!? well keep on reading then, so today during class we were ready to start decorating our naked scenery. On friday, with our DT we had measured the mount and we said that we
needed a 7 m fabric for it, and that is what my mother bought. Rodrigo and Stanley begun their hard work, and little Rodrigo though out loud "WILL THIS FABRIC COVER ALL THE MOUNT?" and DT answered "WELL WE HAVE 15 m of it ...right?" ..coff coff..uhm 15? YEAH RIGH...at 3 days of the great estreno and we were missing fabric...OH GREAT!!! that was perfect for a FmyLife post (enter to www.fmylife.com to undestand what am i talking about). So if you want to see how did our first day of production started take a look at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=655182313&ref=profile#/album.php?page=1&aid=87826&id=655182313

** but the random platypus gives you some pictures just in case you can't enter ** say: thank you Mr. Random Platypus

Reflections:
SO! aaa major problem, I realized how important was to make sure that the right measurement of fabric was correct before buying it! and that if you are encharged of buying YOU HAVE TO BE THE ONE THAT KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO BUY (for the next scenery guy, don't let anyone else take the measurments for you...that will only start messing things up).
Now the other thing that I did was stress out! DO NOT DO THAT, when you are relax ideas start comming. So what was left for us to do? go and buy more fabric!? when!? where...only god knows...lets see what happens tomorrow! whatever it happens I know it will turn out good. How would a semi-naked mount see if we don't actually managed to buy the fabric? How do profecional take care of this problems?! and how much does the audience notice, I mean, does the audience really know what was finished or not! they might think it was done on purpose?!

Circle - Paramore

Saturday 13th June

Today the scenery was ready (...naked I mean) all the wooden peaces, and tubes were ready to be decorated. So today, my mom went and bought the 7 m of green fabric for the mount and the brown one for the palace. Lucianita came to watch how the play was going and she said she liked the scenery (well what was ready at that time). less than one week for the play and we were finally starting to rehearse the whole play !!! About the props...well read sebas blog and you'll find out...literally we had 0.5 % of all the props needed!!! and the play was going to be this Thursday. So, Felipe, Sebas and me...we are going to buy some props to the mercado central tomorrow. I hope we don't die...but know, we have the almuerzo de prom! ...Bon Appetite!

Sunday 14th June

So after partying hard enough to release tension yesterday, felipe and sebas came to my place around 11. We went to burger king to eat and then we went to the Mercado Central to finish with the prop list ...a huge prop list. JAJAJAJA too many things happened in there. We arrived and we were like the Paisana Jasinta when she arrived to Lima, however...i knew more less the area. OUR ADVENTURE BEGUN! ...we were walking and felipe saw this gloves that he wanted...and so we stopped and me and sebas we stayed standing in front of a store. Suddenly, we hear some whisteling...YES ...they liked us JJAJAJAJ but it was very uncomfortable, we turned around and saw this million girls after me and sebas...what's worst ...we had to pass by that damn store like 4 times..each time a choris of girls were heard. SOOOOO anyway, across the street we found the necklace for Estrella (...Check!), then we entered this stores which ....were uhm for parties where we found nothing...we literally didn't know what we were looking for ...so we just walked and look for something that we could use for the play. WE called my mom, and she told us about the big gallery called EL DORADO. looking for the dorado we found the crown for estrella (..check!) so we entered the dorado, and it was more of a handcraft store..luckily for me..we managed to buy 2 cintas to decorate the palace...which in the end it gave it the ROYAL look that we were looking for. Moreover, we kept on walking in the search for Basilio's crown...it was so frustrating to find most of the stores closed!, since it was sunday!! ...at the end we gave up any hope we had, we had two options ..either buy a cake mold and make it a crown OR make it out of tecnopor, either way ..it was going to be the worst crown int eh history of crowns. .....I think God felt sorry for us becuase out of the real NOWHERE, Pedro Pica..oh I'm sorry, Mr. Garcia the art teacher appeared and he told us where we could find the avanicos (fans?) and about a crown!! and about the relicario for astolfo!!! soo score!! we followed his instructions! ...the crown was sooooo expensive (40 soles...) but ..at the end we bought it...It looked great( CHECK!). then we walked like 3 blocks to the store mr. Garcia told us about the avanicos...but no..they were this HUGE avanicos for the wall, not good at all. SO once again, we called my mom, she said .."in the calle Kapon maybe"..so we walked to the calle and yes! we found this avanicos!!! (so ...12 checks! wooohoo) so now..to... Sr. de los Milagros to find the relicario....6 soles taxi.....TO FIND WHAT!? ...the stores closed..URG frustration but, we asked a lady were could we found something that looked like one and she said: inside the temple...(i told you ..God felt sorry for us and helped us a lot) and finally we improvised with a chain and a keychain to make a good relicario!! (CHECK!!!) and off we went home!! .....however, my dear sebastian said: OH SNAP! ...me and felipe: what! he: GARAPIÑAS.... we totally forgot about props for the other part of the play! and aaaaaaaaa stress...there was nothing else to do ...today... great adventure... 4 days to go, props and scenery yet not done. ..we suck..no WE ARCHI MEGA HIPER SUCK.
